A.A.G. Aesthetic Institute offers personal training and development to new medical professionals who are looking to branch into aesthetic injecting or to current aesthetic medical professionals who desire to master their craft, learn new techniques and/or learn how to use products off label.

Individuals and small groups of no more than 1-3 attendees are preferred to ensure the optimal hands-on experience for each trainee if we are doing live injections. We also host bigger educational events that are presentation only, so please feel free to choose the experience that is right for you and your skill level. Educational material will be customized for each training based on their specific neuromodulator, dermal filler background, and desire for advancement. The training facility located within the A.A.G. med spa is the ideal host for these private educational events.

Advanced Aesthetics Group Spa, Cosmetic & Medical Dermatology and A.A.G. Aesthetic Institute is owned by Renée Topala, a Doctor of Nursing Practice. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with honors, undergraduate degrees in biopsychology and nursing. She is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a background in critical care before deciding to go into Aesthetics. Renée is certified for neurotoxins and dermal fillers through the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is an instructor for Basic and Advanced Neurotoxins and Dermal fillers as well as a faculty member of AmSpa.

Basic Botulinum Toxin Training for Medical Professionals Course  $1700

 

Course provides a solid foundation for using any type of neurotoxin. Understand the body's nervous system, blood supply and musculature in a whole new way as we treat the upper third of the face. After completing your certification course you are ready for an in-person session providing hands on experience, injection tips, and post treatment care pearls.

 

Masters Class: Advanced Botulinum Toxin-A Training for Medical Professionals Course $2200

 

Master class for continuing your journey in neurotoxins. Learn off-label uses including, the lower two thirds of the face, neck, jaw, as well how to treat TMJ/TMJD and Hyperhidrosis conditions. After completing your certification course you are ready for an in-person session providing hands on experience, injection tips, and post treatment care pearls.

 

Basic Dermal Filler Training for Medical Professionals Course $1700

 

 

Acquire a solid foundation to use any type of dermal filler product. Learn technique, depth, types of injectables and types of needle to be able to confidently inject with the correct filler, depth and needle type every time.After completing your certification course you are ready for an in-person session providing hands on experience, injection tips, and post treatment care pearls.

 

 

Master Class: Advanced Dermal Filler Training for Medical Professionals 2200 

 

Master class for continuing your journey in dermal fillers. Learn off-label and complicated techniques as a next step in your journey as a provider. Some of the topics covered include: liquid nose job, jaw reshaping and contouring, hand rejuvenation, upper face lift and pairing treatments with neurotoxins and  Kybella. After completing your certification course you are ready for an in-person session providing hands on experience, injection tips, managing complications and post treatment care pearls.  *Due to the intricate nature of this course we recommend 1 year of experience before taking this course.

Do I need a medical license to take these courses?

 

Yes, a valid and current license within your state is required for course registration and certification.

 

What types of dermal fillers and neurotoxins are available in the training portion?

 

Dermal Fillers: Restylane products, Juvederm Products, Radiesse Products & Revanesse Products 

 

Neurotoxins: Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau

 

Are models included as a part of the training session?

 

No, you are required to bring models (1-2) for your hands-on day. You are welcome to bring your own products and needles to practice with or pay wholesale price to use ours.  

 

Is a certification guaranteed for these courses?

 

We want all of our students to be successful! We will do our best to help meet your needs and help facilitate easy learning. Certification is based on the discretion of the hands-on instructor. If the instructor feels that you are unsafe to practice or lacking necessary skills to provide the services you are taking the certification for, the certification will be withheld until such time as you can demonstrate mastery of the  course content. There are no refunds under any circumstances.

 

Are CME credits available for these courses?

 

We currently do not for the aesthetics neurotoxin & dermal filler courses.

 

I completed the online learning, do I have to complete the hands-on portion for a certification?

 

Yes, all students must have a hands-on session with an instructor and demonstrate mastery of the course content before certification will be awarded for the course.

 

Is there a discount for taking more than one course?

 

Yes, you will receive a 10% discount that can be used towards another of our courses.

 

Do you allow virtual hands-on sessions?

 

No, we only allow in-person hands-on training sessions in order to fully certify the student.
