Microneedling with PRP
Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy. During a session, a special device with needles is used to prick the skin and stimulate new collagen production. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is added to the session which creates more firm skin and has the added benefit of faster healing time.
Also termed a "Vampire Facial" your own blood is used to promote healthy activity of skin cells and stimulate collagen and elastin production. Platelets are rich in growth factors which act as "fertilizer" for the skin, especially when used in conjunction to botox injections.
This advanced treatment begins with a blood draw, the blood is then run through a centrifuge to isolate the platelets. The face is numbed before receiving microneedling, which allows the PRP applied topically to penetrate beneath the layers of skin.
Most people need 3-6 sessions every 4-6 weeks to see maximum results and improve the quality of the skin.
