In a world where natural beauty is increasingly celebrated, dermal fillers have emerged as a subtle yet effective solution to enhance one's appearance. These remarkable treatments are designed to deliver results that are both noticeable and nuanced, allowing individuals to enhance their features while still looking like themselves. Unlike more invasive procedures, dermal fillers offer a gentle approach to addressing concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. By strategically injecting small amounts of filler into targeted areas, our skilled practitioners can sculpt and refine contours, creating a harmonious balance that enhances the overall facial aesthetics. The beauty of dermal fillers lies in their ability to provide a refreshed and rejuvenated look without the need for surgery or extended downtime. So, if you're seeking a way to subtly enhance your appearance and restore youthful vitality, dermal fillers stand as a testament to the artistry of modern aesthetic procedures.
The big question of the day.... Does Renée get fillers?
"Yes, I do. I add subtle volume to my temples as those have become hollow with age. This lifts my cheeks and lower face. I also add a little volume to my jaw notch, lips and nasal labial folds. The trick is to add small amounts in different places to create a natural look. Paired with Botox, facials and such, this keep my face looking young.
Who does your Fillers and Botox?
"Haha, I do. I just set up a mirror and I am able to do it myself. Needles don't bother me. To be honest fillers hurt a whole lot less than Botox does, but people seem to be a lot more afraid of fillers."
Are fillers safe?
"Yes, definitely! Done the right way it is very safe. I never add large amount at a time and sometimes do dermal filler treatments in stages to create layers. This is the safest way to do it. Believe me, I wouldn't be injecting myself if I thought it wasn't safe. There is not one treatment I provide that I have not had. I would never ask my patients to do something I wouldn't myself."
Why are fillers so expensive?
"A lot of people think they have to do dermal fillers all at once. That is really not the most effective way to help reverse aging. A little bit at a time over the course of a year can create lasting results that are also sustainable financially. I love coming up with plans for my patients and spreading out the treatments over the course of a year. Everything should be goal oriented! It is also not a one time thing, the filler that is used will determine when a refresh would be necessary to create a nice timeline for treatments."
Any advice for newbies?
"Go to someone you trust. Get a consultation and make sure you are comfortable with the person injecting your filler. If you feel like the person is not listening or hearing you that can lead to unintended results. It is important to share your goals, fears, and budget with you provider prior to receiving treatment."
If someone is not a candidate for filler are there other options?
" Absolutely! We try to line up goals with treatment options to provide the best that can be offered in the industry - we strive for safety, effectiveness and goal-oriented long term results!"
