Renée E. Topala is a highly skilled Doctor of Nursing Practice specializing in Dermatology, Wellness, Weight Loss, and Aesthetic Medicine. Her extensive academic background and vast experience in the medical field make her dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care and advanced treatment plans for each patient.
Renée graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati, holding undergraduate degrees in Biology, Psychology, and Nursing, and a Master's degree in Adult Gerontology Critical Care. She furthered her expertise with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and completed fellowships in Dermatology, Weight Loss, and Aesthetic Medicine. She is a Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honors Society member and holds numerous advanced certifications.
With board certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, Renée began her career in critical care before discovering her passion for Clinical and Cosmetic Dermatology. Her certifications extend to neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and advanced aesthetic procedures through the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also a certified instructor for basic and advanced aesthetic techniques and procedures.
Known for her compassionate approach, Renée ensures her patients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care journey. She meets patients where they are, tailoring treatment plans to achieve their unique goals while building lasting relationships.
Renée’s professional achievements include a fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical School in Neurobiology and publication of research on altered patterning in epilepsy (Hippocampus, 21(1), 93–107).
With Renée at the helm, our practice is committed to delivering the highest standard of care, combining clinical excellence, innovation, and a patient-centered approach. She enjoys painting, playing bass guitar and spending time with her husband of 19 years and 4 beautiful girls!
